Tthe New Orleans Museum of Art currently has the chance to host the large scale installation from the artist Swoon and that is called “Thalassa”.
The artwork reigns in the museum’s great hall and feels very powerful. Swoon here wants to voice her reaction to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and she only used found objects.
The display runs until the 25/09/2011.

Scream gallery will soon host Greg Miller’s first solo UK exhibition. The large-scale works artist will again use his creativity using collages.
His style is very much pop art-inspired paintings and his “Phantom Lady” got noticed this year at an Bonhams urban art sale earlier this year. See picture below.

Time to show some support and also to expose the polluted water issue that is happening right now in China.
“Not only is China one of the world’s twenty most water deficient countries, but irresponsible corporations and slack government has made water pollution highly prevalent in China. Today, as much as 70% of all rivers, lakes, and reservoirs in China are affected by water pollution, and with each passing day the situation only gets worse.”
Greenpeace is using what can called ‘street art’ and has launched a campaign by some creative street installations across the globe recently – mannequins bearing the Chinese symbol for water – ? ‘Shui’
