We will today look at Italian native Pixel Pancho street art who is currently in Poland to take part in the street art Doping festival held in Warsaw.
Pixel Pancho street art style stands out of the crowd and often includes robotic like characters. It was difficult to choose which pieces to show so anything Pixel Pancho sprays turns into wonders. We have included below a few examples of his works.
The artist Franz West has died. For those familiar with the artist or keen on sculpture, this must feel like the art world has lost one of its valuable creative thinker. The trademark of Franz West’s work was largescale bursting with colours sculptures often querky in their shapes and defintely surrealist.
West’s artwork would be made out of plaster, papier-mâché, wire, polyester, aluminium and other, ordinary materials. He had a go at paintings first but rapidly turned his interest to collages, sculptures and in particular portable sculptures called “Adaptives” or “Fitting Pieces”, environments and furniture.
“It doesn’t matter what the art looks like but how it’s used” Franz West.
As a tribute, we have included picture of his most iconic sculptures. Franz West was definitely original with hus approach to sculpture and our pavements and park will be more sad now.
If you strolled in Central London recently, you must have come across these unusual looking phone boxes and maybe wondered what all this was about.
Peter Blake, Gerry Judah, Rob and Nick Carter, sculptor duo the DnA Factory and some 70 others artists and designers took part in the BT ArtBox project where they had to transformed the notorious red telephone box into a piece of art.
This project is sponsored by BT to raise money for ChildLine and all “artboxes” are u for auction until the 22nd July so get bidding today, it is for a gret cause.

We managed to get a look at the latest show at Black Rat Projects called “Letters From America” where works from Ron English, TrustoCorp, Risk and Saber are on display. Pictures of the artworks below.
As soon as you step into the gallery, you are greeted by the “Big Boy”,an original 7 foot or so statue customized by the Los Angeles graffiti writer RISK Big Boy is a brand of meal kits for kids which infamously got in turnmoil when some of their products were tested positive for Listeria contamination back in 2009, but instead of a burger Big Boy holds a spray paint can which will remind visitors that they are about to see artworks from street artists.
Very quickly, another piece from RISK acts as a magnet for your eyes and illuminates the whole room. A graffiti made of neons. Sublime. What a piece to be made when you know how difficult neon making can be. Looking on the ‘Big Boy’ quietly from the back of the room, are pop surrealist painter Ron English’s colourful pigs that will make smile even the hardcore vegetarian out there. Just above them, a series of photographs by the same artist all very loyal to the artist’s style – pop surrealism. The “Telegrinnies” series have to be our favorites one, you will have figured out that Ron English’s work here is base on the “Teletubbies”.

This show runs until the 18th June 2012 and is linked to another project that launched on June 30 at the London Pleasure Gardens where outdoor installations can be seen by the same artist until december 2013. Read the article about it on Arrested Motion website.
